Thank you for considering a donation!  We began our journey on Facebook back in 2011 and have spent countless hours combing the library, internet and newspaper archives after being bitten by the “History Bug.”  While Facebook has been a great platform for sharing, it left some things to be desired – namely, answering the question “Where was that?”  

Enter Memory Ln.  In 2015, a rough attempt was made to create a directory with google maps.  We called it You Haven’t Lived In Watertown, N.Y, If– Presents: Memory Ln.  It was rudimentary, to say the least, but it was free… until Photobucket came up with a pricing scheme for hosting photos that was just not feasible, not to mention one had very little control over integrating various platforms together to make a cohesive and comprehensive tool.  

It’s now 2021 and we’ve finally found a platform that allows us to showcase history and, well, hopefully take you on a trip down memory lane.  Operating the website, renting server space and top-notch technical support, amongst other things, does cost money and, as we grow, so will the expenses.  That’s why we’re grateful for any contributions you may consider giving.  There are other features we’re considering down the road and those contributions will help to off-set potential costs.
